GROPPENSTEINSCHLUCHT GORGE

This gorge is amazing! Over a length of 2.5km you will hike over spectacular climbing facilities and bridges past rapids and waterfalls with a drop of up to 30 metres. Experience a "fountain of health" with tranquility and vitality in the health and Schroth therapy resort of Obervellach in the midst of the High Tauern National Park (Nationalpark Hohe Tauern). A gorge for all the senses - and for all the family!

OPENING HOURS 2025

17/05 - 31/05: daily 10 am- 4 pm

01/06 - 07/09: daily 9 am- 5 pm

08/09 - 12/10: daily 10 am- 4 pm

13/10 - 31/10: depending on the weather

During opening hours, in exceptional cases or in extreme weather conditions there may be a temporary closure for safety reasons.
